Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers apparently got offered coach a Chinese team but rejected the offer just as he couldn’t leave Parkhead. Brendan revealed, as all these happened this summer.
Brendan is been likened to a super coach following the Bhoys securing a second successive domestic treble, Brendan became the eye of many clubs and not too long after the Chinese came running has they wanted such performance of excellence but got an unexpected reply.
It so happened that Brendan isn’t finished with Celtic and feels both at home and happy to stay in Glasgow.
Before the clash between the Bhoys and St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park over the Betfred Cup quarter final, Brendan Rodgers said to BBC Scotland: “There was an offer. My concentration was with Celtic.
“At the end of the season, what was important was to get away, recover from a really tough season and prepare for the next season.
“Nothing (in the offer) made me think otherwise.”
