Pep Guardiola signs new deal with Manchester City

Guardiola will continue as Manchester City boss for the next three years.

Pep is to remain in city as he agrees to an extra 2 years extension added up to the present contract which is to expire in a year time.
Following an excellent season the City’s boss wasn’t going to be missed so easily as he has been shown the green light by Manchester City governing team to further with his career as the City’s manager.

Guardiola obviously know what he is doing and how to go about it, he’s successive game play both in Barca and Bayern and now Manchester City has proven his tactical advantage, Guardiola won the Carabao cup, gained a 100 points record in the Premier League with his men; a record not yet met in the Premier League before now makes it an actual wise deal to keep Guardiola as City’s boss till 2021.
“I am so happy and excited. It’s a pleasure to be able to work here,” Guardiola told the official City website.
“I enjoy working with our players every day and we will try to do our best together in the coming years.
“As a manager, you have to feel good to be with the players – and I feel good.
“I will focus on the desire of my players to become a better team and every day that’s what I will try to do – to improve on the pitch and improve our players.
“We have a young squad with an average age of 23 and we want to keep taking steps forward and maintain the levels we’ve achieved this season.”
Pep Guardiola at the end of his stay as City’s boss would be one of his longest so far numbering up to five years, longer than his stay at Camp Nou and Allianz Arena. Peps new deal was worked on and concluded swiftly within 4days.
Manchester City had been on the wake to sign Pep Guardiola for a long time and finally hit the jackpot the summer of 2016. Pep arrived at City with an astonishing managerial record which had two Champions League titles, three LaLiga successes and three Bundesliga triumphs. This seasons Premier League and League Cup wins has increase the number of accumulated trophies won to 23 as a manager.
