Neymar joining Real Madrid will be “terrible”, Lionel Messi

Following the recent update on Lionel Messi’s previous team mate Neymar Jnr, Barcelona’s rival and league competitor Real Madrid are making moves on signing the young star into their team. Messi didn’t hide his feelings when he mentioned in his interview that it would be “terrible” if Neymar joins Real Madrid.
Neymar left Barca last season when he was signed to Paris Saint-Germain with a world record deal of £200m, and he is been tipped to return back to Spain to play for Madrid this summer.
Messi, a former teammate and friend to Neymar admits he wouldn’t like to see his former teammate at the Bernabeu, following the role he had played in Nou Camp.
Messi said to Tyc Sports: “It would be terrible, because of everything he means to Barca.

“Ney won important trophies here. He won the Champions League and La Liga. It would be a huge blow for everyone. It would make Real Madrid even stronger from a football point of view.”
Messi further mentioned his future is in Barcelona as he doesn’t need the team to prove himself.
“I am not tempted to leave Barcelona. I will not be better anywhere else, this is the best team in the world.
“I want to win the Champions League every year, to be a league champion every year. It’s what we all want.”
When asked about the world cup and Argentina’s position he replied with “We deserve to be there because of our history, although it cost us a lot in the last World Cups to reach those rounds, but we have to be there again.
“It’s more of a desire because of everything we’ve gone through, rather than an obligation. We’re the first to want to be champions in Russia.
