Liverpool will take on Maribor at Anfield stadium on Wednesday and would want a win to increase champions league qualification points.

List of players Liverpool coach will select:

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet will not be taking the starting line up in this match though he kept his place with their match against Tottenham, Loris will be starting.

However, Loris Karius will start this match just as he has started all previous matches in this champions league group stage this season.

Defence: Joel Matip could come in back at right as well Ragnar Klavan is expected to start alongside Trent Alexander Arnold also at the right back.

Centre back Dejan Lovren will not be available in this match due to lack of training with the team and availability so also he missed the l Huddersfield game on Saturday picking up an injury during the pre-match warm up.

Newly signed Andrew Robertson could also make a start in the defence this match because Alberto Moreno is also part of the injued suffering from cramp against Huddersfield.

Midfield: Adam Lallana is yet  to return and he’s getting closer to his awaited comeback from injury and he’s returning after the International break, Gini Wijnaldum may keep his place in midfield .

Emre Can might be recalled after being part of the substitute this weekend, Jordan Henderson might have to rest so that James Milner will start in the centre Midfield.

Attack: Philippe Coutinho is not expected to be risked after missing the Huddersfield win with an adductor injury and he didn’t take part in full training with the rest of the squad today.

Roberto Firmino could be given a breather so Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might be given a rare start in attack with Mohamed Salah keeping his place on the opposite flank.

Daniel Sturridge will be hoping to lead the line up front once again after scoring at the weekend but Dominic Solanke is pushing for a recall. Sadio Mane remains out with a hamstring injury but he’s pencilled in to return next month.
